The Best Last Day At Cardigan

Day 3 began with us waking up to a bacon-y aroma drifting up from the kitchen. We headed down for a yummy breakfast. After breakfast, we met with our group and started to head to welton falls. The way was quite steep heading downward and so it was not hard going. We stopped to sketch multiple times and also ate partridge berries. After about 30 minutes, we reached the river crossing and went single file over the rocks. When we reached welton falls, we had lunch and sketched some more. As we started to head back, we had several detours but we did make it back. The bus ride seemed much longer the than the ride there, but it was the end of our Mount Cardigan field trip.
